I have two different colored eyes ones brown the other is a slightly lighter brown with a little green in it. Thanks! What color eye shadow and eye liner should I use?
A brown eyeliner and a brownish goldish (maybe a little bit shimmery) eye shadow
You could do somthing with a suttle hin of green but that might draw more attention to the difference in you eye colorsWhat color eye shadow and eye liner should I use?
black eyeliner
khaki green with gold in it.
a true brown ( without red in it)
pink
pale beige
white
( try the chanel quads of eyeshadows..you will be able to mix layer and adjust color to suit each eye..very subtly)
well with eyes like that i would use a color very light because if you are afriad that other people will notice stay light. well i have somehow the same problem. so i use light pink with charcol eye liner. the only deference from black and charcol are charcol does not show up as much.
i don't know you but i use Blake eye linger and shadows dark Brown ,red brown ,dark green i mean dark pistaje
My eyes are different, too. Theyr'e like pie charts, different colors, then they just stop and go into a totally different color. It depends on what your hair color is and what you're wearing, too. I use a white creame shadow on my eye lids and right under my eyebrow. Then I go with a very thin light grey line right above my eye lid. In the space between the grey line and the white under my eyebrow, I put a light layer of dark grey. It usually goes with anything, and its cute. It works for me. Also, you could layer your top eye lid really thin with black eyeliner. Nothing too big, just enough to go along your eyelashes. This highlights your eyes. Hope I explained it well enough.
I have brown eyes too, goldish and bronze (colors in that range are what i use, it looks good too) you could be crazy and use bright colors..hot pink, lime green, really crazy colors but they look good with brown eyes. eyeliner? not so sure about what color eyeliner i just use brown and put some like cream colored eyeshadow over it. good luck with whatever you try! :)
i would use black eye liner, and then about any other color for the eye Shadow.i always do eye shadow that maches my shirt.
If you want to bring the green out on your eyes use a maroon or purple eyeshadow or liner. If you want to bring out both colors the best color is a coral orange color in eyeshadow. If you can think of the color wheel the opposite color will bring out that color more.
Green=red
orange=blue
yellow=violet
I have brownish-greenish colored eyes and I use bronzish-brownish eye shadow with light pink on the outside corners of my eyes. And i use dark brown eye liner. And everyone compliments me on my makeup.

What color eye liner would you use for dark but not so dark eyes?
What really makes them pop?Any tips, suggestionsWhat color eye liner would you use for dark but not so dark eyes?
well, black looks good on any eye color. but after you put on you black eyeliner, you might want to make your eyes pop, so take another color eyeliner and put it on the bottom of your eyes as close the eyelashes as you can get( not on the inside rims) but right next to your lashes
as far as color goes, here are some tips
brown eyes~ purple and/or gold
hazel eyes~lavender or green (depending on the kind of hazel)
blue eyes~ brown/gold
green eyes~ deep violet, or emrald green
(oh, and make sure all the colors are shimmery or else it wont do the trick)
good luck! What color eye liner would you use for dark but not so dark eyes?
I use glimmersticks by Avon Cosmic Brown it's real pretty..
My eyes are a sort-of dark green and I use a charcoal colored eye liner (any brand). I've found that it works better than black eyeliner at making my eyes stand out. It won't make you look old, tired, or goth (unless that's what you're going for and you put it on heavily). I've tried using colored eyeliner in the past (blue, silver, etc) and they just don't do the trick if you don't have baby blues. Good luck!
I think you have to consider your overall coloring, hair, skin, etc.... But believe it or not, very dark eye liners no matter what your coloring can make you look hard and older. I would suggest a navy to medium brown.
i use dark brown
two words - jewel tones. ne thing from emerald green to spphire blue. those colors make dark eyes stand out
When I want a smokey effect but not all blacked out I use a charcoal eye liner. you can get it from anywhere. avon's is the best I think!
I use black eyeliner, and sometimes I use the midnight purple glitter stick I got from Sephora. It's like only 10 bucks or something but it looks really good on brown/black eyes and definitely makes them pop.albinism

What color eye-shadow or eye-liner helps to offset redness in the eye?
I am sort of sick and I haven't been sleeping well but I have a couple parties and dates coming up. HELP!What color eye-shadow or eye-liner helps to offset redness in the eye?
Don't use anything with purple hues (or red or pink). Using a flesh toned pencil (or white if you cannot find one), rim the entire inner lid of the eye (the pinkish wet part). Use a light golden shimmer in the inner corners of the eyes and under the brow. Using a brown (cool toned, not reddish) liner, go along the roots of the lashes. Finish with black mascara. What color eye-shadow or eye-liner helps to offset redness in the eye?
Black eye-liner and black or green-shadow
I had the same problem.

What color eye shadow/ eye liner should i use if i have green eyes?
I have greenish blue eyes and very fair skin and i need to know what color shadow and liner i need to use!!!What color eye shadow/ eye liner should i use if i have green eyes?
browns %26amp; purples will look best wiv ur eyes. The brown will make the blue stand out, whereas the purple will make the green stand outWhat color eye shadow/ eye liner should i use if i have green eyes?
u should definitly stay away from blue. I would try light brown and black, also glitter goes really good with green eyes and fair skin
I have green eyes too and I wear black eyeliner. But i put on bronzer on my face because it makes it look better. I just wear black eyeliner and black mascara. It makes eyes pop !!
I would stick with earth tones, browns and beiges. No bright colors because that would intensify your features and you don't want to do that.
Browns..mostly.
Brown contrasts against the colors of your eyes (green and blue). It would make them stand out a lot more, jsut make sure you don't cake it on so the eyeliner swallows your eyes.
brown eyeliner. and purple or very natural colors for ur eyeshadow... that works rlly good : )
Purples look awesome.
shimmery silver, blackeye liner, reddish brown
Black.
ONLY BLACK.
browns or charcoal or purples they will all look great on you.
urmm black/brown
blue ?

plum purple
would look georgeous x

What color eye liner would look good on me?
im 14 and i wear black eye liner but i want to try a different color but i dont know what? What color eye liner would look good on me?
purple or dark olive greenWhat color eye liner would look good on me?
I have brown/hazel eyes and white skin also. Black seems to drown my eyes out. I use chocolate browns. I like mary kay, avon and lately ive been using elizabeth ardens Espresso. Anything along that same color line. I dont line my entire eye either. i usually only go half way across the bottom and top.
Why would you want to wear make up at 14 15 or even 16?
Wearing make up at your age is look at the same way as old women with leather tights are looked at!
You have plenty of time to play around with make up once you start working.
Then you'll miss being 14 and being able to go without make up.
sunscreen is a must at your age though, look into that instead.
Hope you consider my advice; ) I'm sur you are beautiful in your most natural state!
A Plum or Deep Brown would really make Hazel Eyes pop. The same with Eyeshadows. Check out Almay's collections:

With having hazel eyes, you want to wear something that will bring out your eyes without over powering them.
Look into a Sandstone, Grazel which is a soft green//brown.
Try to stay with colors that are a little softer then overpowering.
Brown probably. Dry a liquid eye liner, you can do more things with that. I find a colour which is a bit out there, but if you do it right looks really good is a blue eyeliner. sounds silly but can look really good x
for hazel eyes, you should try a darker green, like a forest green. I was told that for eyes, opposites attract, and for hazel eyes, darker green shades work. try it out and see what you think
what a coincidence :) im 14 and i am soo sick of black eye liner so
i tried dark brown and it really looks good especially with hazel eyes... and what colour is your hair? if you have dark hair you should also try dark blue :]
I have hazel eyes with light color skin and I switch up b/w black, gray and brown. Gray is def a good color, but I tend to wear more black than anything else :)
Check out an Urban Decay counter @ Boots or Debenhams! You are bound to find plenty of colours (all eyeliners as well as other things) which will suit you there
I think purples, browns and gold =] x
try like a brown eyeliner/gold
i use blue because i have blue eyes

Try purple or brown...green might look pretty too. Almay has a whole line of cosmetics that are color-coded depending on your eye color. Try them out!
Depends on your complexion. Post pics. Or not. You're 14. Don't worry about make up.
i have hazel eyes too, i usually use brown and blend it to soften it, looks more natural than black :)
Brown, Copper, Purple, Green--lose the black.
A dark greenish color would like nice.
You could try a green, goldish brown, or purple. Good luck!
navy, but you shouldn't be wearing makeup
You wear any color that your feel confident wearing. Just be your self!!!
try purple, it should look great with hazel eyes

I love her tutorialsWhat color eye liner will make my blue eyes pop?
I'm not 100% positive, but I have a friend with very blue eyes, and she wears brown eye liner on the bottom. NOT LIQUID THOUGH! It's more like a chalk-y look. It brings them out! Especially with light eye shadow. What color eye liner will make my blue eyes pop?
You could use black, or you could use a dark blue!!
What I've done as well, is take eyeshadow and brush it across the top lid right where I would put eyeliner, or even sometimes right on top of the eyeliner. I match it close to what I'm wearing, or I do a greyblue if I'm wearing red. My eyes are hazel and it makes my eyes pop!!
i have bright blue eyes myself and always get the nicest effect from black eyeliner. i use a covergirl blending pencil in ';basic black'; and it gives my eyes a gorgeous zing.
They have make up sets for specific eye color at like target that you can use.
i agree with most of the people on this question, the black on top but if you use medium color of blue thats not too dark or too light and have blueish eyeliner too
DONT DO BLACK!! take from someone who knows !! go with a nice neutral brown, and a little touch of gold.
brown, black or gray. id say gray or brown for causual everyday and then black when you go out.
but to make your eyes really pop, put white eyeliner the the crease of your eye by your nose. your eyes will be huge!
brown.
go with a blue that is closest to yoru eyecolor. also to make eys pop = go with eyeshadow that is close to your skin tone or even white = it makes your eyes glow and with the blue eyeliner itll totally make ur eyes pop!
I THINK IT HAS TO BE BLACK OR BROWN
I have blue eyes too and I usually wear a black liquid eyeliner just on the top and black mascara on the top %26amp; bottom.
black!!!!!!! just on the top of the eye though.
brown, dark blue (darker than ur eyes) or vrown. line the water line too wih black or brn it looks so cool!
WEAR BLACK ON THE TOP ONLY IT REALLY WORKS
black or brown

What color eye liner/eye shadow color is better for a girl with brown eyes and medium skin tone?
black or purple :). and for shadow: purple, pink, blue, green, and gold :)
mine please!! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>What color eye liner/eye shadow color is better for a girl with brown eyes and medium skin tone?
Green is perhaps one of the most complimentary colors on brown eyes. I would recommend to really play up the eye, use a light brown liner and a forest green shadow. If you have two different shades, a light and a dark, use the dark shade across the crease of the eye. This will give plenty of color without overwhelming the eye and leave you with a fresh, beautiful look.
Stay classy! What color eye liner/eye shadow color is better for a girl with brown eyes and medium skin tone?
You and I must have similar coloring and are very lucky for it!
We gals can pull of lots of different colors and look divine.
I do silver/black smokey eye, purple smokey, brown and gold smokey eyes. I also do an awesome smokey eye with pink, gun metal grey and black.
My go to liners are black, dark brown and deep purple!
Girls with brown eyes and medium skin can look great with so many different styles. Have fun!
Browns and golds are some of the best at making the eyes POP.
Try the 3-shade set of eyeshadow from Cover Girl called ';Shimmering Sands';. It is awesome! Put the medium tone over the entire lid, the darkest one on the outer edges, and the light one on the brow bone. Instant eye opener!
Also, I'd go with a dark brown eyeliner.
Puple is the best eyeshadow and eyeliner for brown eyed grils. It makes your eyes pop.
like a bronze eye shadow and chocolate eye liner
black dark purple or blue and gold or brown shadow
greens, browns, and golds.

What color eye-liner & eye shadow should I use?
I'm an asian 15 year old. I have dark tan skin (with a hint of yellow) and black hair %26amp; black eyes. I look best in blue colored clothes, so should I also wear blue make-up?What color eye-liner %26amp; eye shadow should I use?
Brown eyeliner would look best with a dark tan luminescent eyeshadow. Brown looks great if you are wearing blue too. But blue eye makeup is a little bit harsh and unnatural looking. What color eye-liner %26amp; eye shadow should I use?
Mm...depends, I'm like you- Asian and tanned skin.. as long as you don't get too matchy with your clothes it'll look okay. I just use black eyeliner and mascara. Sometimes I use green though with a green shirt.
the blue dream matte mousse is the best, its a cream eyeshadow it come in great colors, the pinks great also
brown,but not rainbow colors
im quite similar to you. i find that using a darker brown lipliner and a lighter shade of brown for lips works great. also, i use a brown shade for my eyes... this looks natural but striking
one, don't match your makeup with your clothes. two, people shouldn't wear blue anyways. ;)
here is what you do: visit a makeup counter, and they will tell you what will look best on you, because they can see you and your unique features and we can't.

try changing it up a little bit by using like a pinkish color with black eye liner on the top and bottom and when the meet at the corner of you eye (the out side corner) do a cats eye it is like an extintion of the eye liner. try to get your eye shadow to match your outfit

if yoo want to wear blue eye make-up that is fine but don't go any further than that!
make-up tips
No matter what type of skin you have, massage a light moisturizer into your face, avoiding the eye area! This will help oily skin dry, and dry skin become smoother. Wait a few minutes for it to soak into your skin. After letting it sit for a while, rinse face with warm water, and pat dry
Apply a sheer foundation that matches your skin tone.
To find the right one, go to the makeup counter at a local department store and have the artist there help you.
Use a makeup sponge or wedge, starting around the hairline and working your way down. (Use the wedge for this routine because you can be more precise about where the make up goes.)
Remember to apply the make up all the way down to your throat area and keep blending so you can't see where the make up ends. Nothing is worse than looking like you have a mask on your face!
Around the eye area, do very light strokes inward, toward the inner corner of your eye. Don't forget to apply it to your upper eyelid too. Be gentle with this part, because the skin is very delicate and sensitive here.
Remember to blend all the makeup into your hairline. (but not so that your hair is another color!)
Apply concealer to any red or discolored spots. In the corners of your eyes, where it blue and around the nostrils are good places for this. Do this after applying foundation, so you don't use too much (many makeup artists do this the other way around). First apply the concealer, then pat very lightly with your finger to blend. Only apply concealer to the area that you want to conceal. Afterwards, use the wedge to blend the concealer in with the foundation. Stand back away from your mirror to see if you have effectively concealed the areas. Try to stand about the distance away from the mirror that you stand away from people when you talk to them. Another way to conceal blemishes is to pat green concealer on the blemishes and red spots, then put foundation over top (the green reduces redness).
Apply a loose powder all over the face using a powder brush. Pat it into the powder; then, with a paper towel, tap the brush so the excess falls off the brush. Lightly brush across the whole face. Use a powder puff (small) to apply powder on the upper lid. Apply a bronzer to your forehead, cheeks, and chin, to give a sun kissed look,if wanted.
Highlight your brow bone and cheek bones by applying a light powder just below the brow, and to the highest part of your cheek.
Apply a small amount of blush to the apples of your cheeks. Smile so you can see the apple of your cheek. Start the application at the apple and drag the blush outward toward your temple, following your cheek bone. Blend the color down a bit below your cheekbone in towards your earlobe. If you added too much color to the brush, use the clear side of your wedge to blend it in more until the color is faded out a bit. Your cheeks should have a hint of color. You don't want to look like a clown!
Line your lips with a liner that matches your lip color. Make sure your lip liner pencil is sharpened, but not too sharp. Line around the natural line of your lips. Trying to create a fuller lip by dragging the lip pencil outside your lipline is for professionals. Usually it makes you look like you're just plain bad at applying makeup! After applying your lip pencil to your lip line, rub your lips together so the lip pencil color spreads inside your lips. Add lip gloss to make them shine and look natural or a light neutral shade of lip stick.
For your eyes seeing as yoo want blue eye make-up then i would suggest getting a small brush and have a baby blue onm your eyelid and then using your finger smudge the blue around your eye lid to create a faded look and yoo can add a smidge of silver at the corner of your eyes i love this look because its kind of fairy like! oh and don't for get to add mascara!
hope i helped ...x
I think like a bronze color would look nice

Which color eye liner would you suggest?
Hi! I would like to wear some shades of (light) purple eyeshadow. Would you recommend brown eye liner or grey? A friend told me brown, but the sales girl at the store said No, use grey instead. Which do you think is better? Thanks!Which color eye liner would you suggest?
I think u should use gray cuz gray fits better with the color purple than brown does, but if u r using pink eyeshadow go with brown cuz those colors go together better and will look goodWhich color eye liner would you suggest?
I think grey it goes beter with the purple, although brown could make it stand out more, it also depends on the colour of your eyes, brown eyeliner lookes great on blue eyes, nd grey would look better on brown eyes, brown looks good on green/hazel eyes, makes them look bigger and stand out. : ) Hope this helps.....you shud jus experiment nd see wht looks good x
The black would look good on you. Try the gray see if it looks good and if not try the brown. Though with a color so bright like purple you might wanna use a dark color itll work best
so try black and grey :) see what u like :) dont forget to email me for your other question :)
email:shinysparkels@yahoo.com
well, you can always try things out. i'm sure your friends or you own some different color eyeliner. why dont you ask your friends if they have some eyeliner.
** however, i would recommend grey or black but its your choice.
I wear light purple eyeshadow a lot, but i match it with black. Grey sounds really pretty though.
lol but def. not brown.
:)
help? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
it depends on ur eye color.. u need to find a color wheel and find ur eye color and pick the color opposite of that.. for ex. mine r brown so i use a dark purple
Well, I use black.
But if the sales girl at the store said gray, use gray--she's the professional.
But then again, I guess it's what you think looks best!
id say brown but i guess it depends ont he outfit, id say i dark grey then.

What color eye liner is best to use for big dark brown eyes?
i have big eyes but i have big circles under my eyes as well so everytime i put eyeliner on it looks like someone hit me in the face. am i doing something wrong, please help, thanxxWhat color eye liner is best to use for big dark brown eyes?
I am a master make-up artist of 22 years http://www.beautifulbrides.org You need to use some corrective concealor mixed in with your regular concealor under your eyes. The corrective concealor is yellow and MAC sells a great one.
You can never get rid of under eye circles but can ';minimize'; them. I also suggest only lining 1/4 bottom on your eyes or 1/2 the most and keep your liner thin and crisp. Don't smudge it too much. It's o.k. to use mascara on your bottom lashes.
You can never rid of under eye discoloration so don't spend alot of money on false advertising. It's hereditary.
If you follow these instructions you will greatly improve your under eye discolorations.
In fact, my bride on my home page had terrible under eye darkness and she looks great once I finished with her makeup and she made it to my home page of my site with good make-up.
Hope that helps. If I can be of any further help please email me at valerie@beautifulbrides.org
I am the real deal and can give you good advise.

Perhaps you need practice applying it. Black is usually good but if you want them to stand out green eyeliner makes brown eyes stand out. =)
Dark blue, plumb, dark olive green
hmmm i would try using some under eye conceler and only using liner on the the top lash, black is classic for brown eyes. get enough sleep and plenty of water might help with the bags a little.
NAVY
more dark than dark brown eye liner
Stop using eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes, your just making them look darker. Try using a dark brown or black eyeliner at the top of the eye lid...that might make them look better
Black would look best in my opinion and stand out well.
Oh, I have a friend like this. She started wearing eyeliner and it looked really bad. You need some concealer under your eyes! I have this problem too, and I'm able to wear it. If eyeliner still looks bad or you can't use concealer, just wear a black, volumizing mascara.
Hope I was able to help!
(yes, black is classic for brown eyes)
yellow co lour or green colour is the best colour to use for big dark brown eyes.
Brown eyeliner reduces the look of puffiness and it creates the illusion that the puffiness under your eyes isnt that bad. Also put concealer under your eyes then foundation. Also to bring otu your eyecolor use blue eyeliner from maybeline, and purple from Almay is awesome too!
Brownish black. Not to harsh, yet enough to highlight your pretty brown eyes. Not black, that's to dramatic..in my opinion. I always thought it best to accent what you have rather than trying to make what you do not. As for your circles, go to a good department store, like Macy's and check out Cliques make up help..they can help you find something just for your skin tone, and it lasts forever!!
I have brown eyes and I use a grey kohl pencil, the effect is smokey but subtle enough for daytime wear as it's not too harsh or dark. Dark blue would also work well, and aubergine colours pick up on the gold tones in your brown irises.
Bright colours like peacock blue look great for special occasions.
HI.
I think that you can try the brown or deep brown. You're lucky to have big eyes, because every women wants to have big eyes.
Remember if you want to do your eye small,
use your eye liner in all eye border ( top and bottom), if you want your eye bigger, use your eye liner no where the eye begin, a little bit separate. ( I hope that your understand my english jeje, I'm latina and my english is no good jeje) I'm a beauty consultant .www.marykay.com/jackiesalinas

What Color Eye Liner Should I Use With My Brown Skin?
Well I have ';brown'; skin, I am mixed with black/white if that can help you image it. I'm thinking of getting green contacts soon, not sure.. I just want to know what color eyeliner would go with my skin tone and with either brown eyes/green eyes. Or if any eyeliner would look good on me at all, and I am male, if that helps any at all. thanks! What Color Eye Liner Should I Use With My Brown Skin?
you generally want to match your hair color...but they make a brown/black eyeliner that sounds perfect for you...it's a dark chocolate brown but goes very nice with dark skin and dark hair. Typically you want something that will make your eyes stand out...so if you're wearing the green contact lenses, you can try a brown...if you're going with your natural eye color, go with the black to make your brown eyes stand out. What Color Eye Liner Should I Use With My Brown Skin?
a dark navy or deep plum
Dark plum brings out both brown and green eyes really well.
BLACK..... Pink lol
A nice deep blue would look stunning. Or a gold. But blue would be nice.
A nice black or a slightly/really dark muddy brown. TBH i think black looks good on darker skin, and it'll make your eyes look bigger and more defined :)
Yes~!! More men should wear makeup :P
I think blue [only if you're not wearing eyeshadow] goes good with green eyes, also it makes the whites of your eyes whiter. Hope it helps *^_^*
well if you ask me i would say none... but if you really want to get... black or a dark brown.
gold :D
glitter
or black
gold! gold! gold!
you should use a light brownish color!
Use black or a dark green. That'll bring out the green contacts.
Hi, I'm like you, brown blend! I wear black khol and liquid eye liner, silver, gold, sparkly blue...it all depends whether its day/night, dress casual or clubbin!
im ';brown'; lol with green eyes and I wear dark brown eyeliner if im goin casual, and use black for a more formal look. Dark eyeliner for me really brings out my eyes. try loreal #7,, and why do you want to wear eyeliner anyway, unless you're doing print work or broadway acting? In my opinion, im sure you'll look hot without it

I was thinking about going with a dark blue because black is too harsh I thnk.Whats the best color eye liner for blue eyes?
I always wear a darker blue color or black/brown eye liner.
Black is too harsh, unless you have a lot of black in the outfit you are wearing.Whats the best color eye liner for blue eyes?
If your eyes are a deeper blue try a navy eyeliner because it will really bring out the hues in your eyes. If your eyes are a lighter blue this will still work but a lavender or light brown eyeliner would also be good. Report Abuse
i think black really makes the light eyes pop out :)
white,green,or dark blue
then if u don't like black then try a brown or the blue and see how it looks
Use brown eyeliner. It is the spectral opposite of blue and will intensify the blue! Use violet eyeshadow and some gray blue for highlights.
Dark colours like brown or black
What ever you go with, go light. Blue eyes do not need much accent.
I have blue eyes and tend to go for dark brown but dark purple(Clinique's Violet or MAC Prunela) is nice too. You might go to a makeup counter and just let them experiment with you, have you ever had a free makeover? They are fun...and there is no obligation to buy anything.
I use brown. I always get great complements on my blue eyes when I use brown eyeliner!
I think you should deff go brown
To make your eyes pop, wear eye makeup that contrasts with your eye color (is on the opposite side of the color wheel). For blue eyes, that would be brown or anything with an orange undertone (bronze, peach, etc.) So I would definitely say brown eyeliner since bronze and peaches are really more eyeshadow colors than eyeliner!
Black eyeliner can appear too harsh on some people, especially people with light-colored eyes, pale skin, or light hair. I personally think black eyeliner only looks good on people with dark skintones or dark eyes.
I have blue eyes myself, and my favorite eyeliner is a medium, warm brown (though on occasion I'll wear other colors just for fun). Since I also have very pale skin and blonde hair, if I were to wear black eyeliner, it would stand out so much that the attention would be on my eyeliner, not my actual eyes!
I have blue/gray eyes.
Different shades of grays, silvers, and dark browns work best. I don't like regular brown it doesn't do much for my eyes. I like black eyeliner except I use a Kohl instead it's much more soft and doesn't look as harsh. And some black mascara your good to go.
whats really pretty on girls with blue eyes is like a blueishh greenish eyeliner or brown with light pink with a touch of gold eye shadow... i should know i have blue eyes. but hope i helped thankss
I don't have blue eyes, but a lot of my friends do and they use brown...i think that it looks good!!
try using a thick silver or peach colored sparkly eyeshade pencil to line ur eyelids looks great on blue eyes....u could use a grey or charcoal colored eyeliner for a more dramatic smoky effect...... use a darker shade of grayon top n a lighter shade of grey eyeshade to line the outer edges of lower lids
try a brown or a purple.
black is not to harsh, eyeliner is used to make your eyes pop, not to add color, thats what eye shadow is for.
try a somewhat shiny liner.
like a gray. or something with
like a silver. like a black with
little specks of sparkles in it.
try a liquid liner they have really
good shiny colors. it will really
bring out the gray specks from
your blue eyes.
it will look reall cool ;)
Try an eggplant or deep purple liner. I think it looks beautiful with blue eyes.
Brown makes the eyes look more blue. Dark blue is also nice as I think it enhances depth. Grey opens the eyes a little.
I have dark blue eyes, and like to use blue or purple.
I have blue eyes, and I use black, but I use a kohl pencil with I think has a softer effect than liquid liner. But in the past I have used both brown and smoky black (like a dark grey) and I had a lot of comments from men and women (men being my husband...haha) about it. But in the day time why not use some white eye-liner? It really opens up the eyes and makes them look fresh even when you are tired. It also makes them look bigger. But apply mascara lightly when you are wearing white eye-liner, because otherwise the effect isnt as good.
good luck :)
Can't see it behind all that hair so I wouldn't worry about it.
But if you can, I would say don't use any as it will look like your boyfriend beats you.
actually...
black is the best for blue eyes
it really makes your eyes pop!!!!
maybe even brownn
use balck eye liner on your uper lid and lower lid of your eye and then use white eye liner on the corners of your eyes.If you do that it will make your eyes appear alot bigger and beautiful.(i have blue eyes too)
depends on what shade of blue but darks like dark brown and black if you have darker blue eyes and if you have light blue eyes you need to use very dark blues and greens and a roll over of light brown those will bring out your eyes but skin colored and very light colors will wash you out
I have blue eyes, and I wear brown or a grayish eyeliner.
blue definatly
BROWN HOPE I HELPED YOU :} ALSO IF THAT DOESN'T WORK GO TO DILLARD S AND ASK A LADY AT THE MAKEUP CONTER WHAT SHE WOULD SUGGEST IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE DILARDS JUST A BIG DEPSRTMENTS TORE LIKE MACY .
brown is it will bring out your color more

What color are your eyes, and what is your favorite colored eye liner?
Shade %26amp; brand please!
Thanks :-)What color are your eyes, and what is your favorite colored eye liner?
My eyes are brown and my fave color eyeliner is black because I think it brings out my eyes more. I alternate between 3 brands. They are Wet 'n' Wild eyeliner #651 black, Almay amazing eyeliner in black, and Bobbi Brown long lasting gel liner in black ink. I have to use an ultra fine eyeliner brush for the Bobbi Brown one. I use this one for the days I don't feel like retouching my eye makeup because this one lasts really long. I almost never need to reapply, but it's harder to remove. This is why I don't wear it too often. I don't want to end up spending time to rub my eyes hard and try to remove it. I don't wanna end up getting more wrinkles and bags under my eyes than I already do. I need to buy a better eye makeup remover. The good thing about the Bobbi Brown one is that I don't need to sharpen it because it's in a little pot. I only have to dip the brush into it. I have to sharpen both the Wet 'n' Wild and Almay one because they are pencils. They don't last as long, but they're easier to remove. What color are your eyes, and what is your favorite colored eye liner?
i have hazel eyes
i like brown
and i read that w/ hazel, green makes them pop out too.
(any brand)
My eyes change from Blue to green
Whatever I choose on each day, is either black or dark brown.
Doesnt matter what color my eyes are that day, either colour works good.
I use almay compact for eyeshadow, and maybelline for eyeliners, not the normal pencil you sharpen, the one you twist.
brown-black eyes,
pitch black or gold eyeliner.
hazel eyes, and i wear black eyelinber cause i have dark hair... Waterproof liquid usually, from maybelline
I have green eyes with yellow specks. I don't really wear eye liner a whole lot, but when I do it's usually black or brown, sometimes an olive green color, for day time wearing. But I've used a gold liner before. I have also used a jewel tone emerald green several times before when I've gone to the pub and what not .
As for brands, I go between different ones and just try them out. Almay seems to be one of the better ones though.
i have brown eyes and i use sephora brand with pencil black and a light shade of silver on top. i know it sounds kinda ugly but it's super cute
My eyes are a rosey brown, they have green and golden flecks of color in the iris; I have medium light complexion and medium dark brown hair. I have had professional color analysis and my own color chart done for make up application. The line of cosmetics that was prescribed for me is no longer being marketed. So, I am experimenting with several different lines now. One of them is L'Oreal's Bare Naturale Mineral make up. I'm pretty sure I will stay with the Minerals and maybe try Bare Minerals cosmetics line next.
My favorite eye liner is midnight blue and rich dark brown.... deep coffee brown or midnight blue mascara. Black is okay. My favorite eye shadow is pearly grey and maybe light silver under the brow. It looks the most natural and flattering.
I have dark brown eyes and i use a whole bunch of different colors I got a travel kit of Urban Decay eyeliners with green, blue, purple, gold and black and i love them all :)
Dark brown eyes - navy blue

I have brown eyes and I love using the Clinique brand in black black (the darkest one there is). I also started experimenting with their peacock eye shadow and I picked up a similar color liner from Rimmel at the drug store for a few bucks to match.

What's the best color eye liner and eye shadow?
What's the best Cold eye liner and eye shadow to wear. I have green eyes. Also, where can I buy this for cheap, and which brand? What's the best color eye liner and eye shadow?
youre lucky to have green eyes.
green eyes pretty much go with any colour, just make sure that you dont put white eye shadow on your eyelids.
for your eyes, i would pick bright colours for day and then darker colours for night, but for eyeliner i would keep it simple and stick to the black.
you cant go wrong :)What's the best color eye liner and eye shadow?
for green eyese, i'd say dark brown or violet eyesahdow.....
get it at TARGET they have a good makeup variety

What color eye liner and/or eye shadow would look good with dark brown/black eyes?
I have brown skin (i'm indian...) and black hair as well! What color eye liner and/or eye shadow would look good with dark brown/black eyes?
I worked as a makeup artist for MAC for 2 years. Dark skin and eyes look good in any color, go for soft sea foam green, dark blue, pale purple, shimmery gold or for formal wear, shimmery gray. but make sure to keep the lips natural and glossy. What color eye liner and/or eye shadow would look good with dark brown/black eyes?
Black- Eyeliner (brown doesnt really show up..I have medium skin tone and it goes unnoticed, so i personally prefer Black)
Purples, Greens, Golds look fabulous For Eyeshadow but keep in mind that you could go with any color really, as long as you apply it with a nice technique =)

if your indian, you probably have long lashes so you really dont need to wear eye liner. but if you want to wear it, wear black or dark purple. it is better to get the expensive kind because having the cheap brands will make your lashes fall out
Black or a purple eye shawdo.
or a sivler/copper color.
with black eyeliner !
thatdd bee pretty hot !
and the great thing it looks great on everone.
and its not trashy...
black is best. but you can go crazy with shadow or colored eyeliner pencil top of the black eyeliner, KWIM?
with dark eyes you can wear any color you want and it will look good on you.
I think black or dark brown eye liner would look good on you since you have dark features :)
black eyeliner
any greens, blues, or purples eyeshadow
Black eyeliner always works.. try a gold shimmer eye shadow. That sounds cute.

SMOKY EYES:
you cant go wrong with dark matted colours. the smokey eye look is great and so easy to achieve when you know how.
youll need: eye primer (you dont NEED it but its best for keeping your eyeshaddow put), two shaddows (one light, one dark), eyeliner, eyeshaddow brush and mascara.
firstly youll need to prep the lid, this is the key to keeping your eyeshaddow put all day long. this will also stop your shaddow melting into your eyelid crease after a few hours. to do this, start wil an eyeshaddow base/primer. try MAC's prep and prime eye or fresh freshface perfecting eye primer.
then youll need to apply eyeliner. if your going for a typical black, brown or grey smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colours above your lash line, making the line thicker in the middle of the eye. if you want to go for something a little different ie a jewel-toned colour, then violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye, so line the eyes with a purple, blue, or deep green liner. again, mac make great eyeliners but i also like ones by tigi, maybelline and loreal, so experiment untill you find something you like using.
then blend in the colour on the bottom of your lashes. for colour on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) youll need a lighter eyeliner. the key is to smudge it slightly. you can also apply a bit of shaddow to get a full smudge effect. personally, i find rimmel eyeshaddows great and theyre reasonably priced too!
next, apply a light base colour. again, the key to the smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with a darker hue. i prefer nice cream shades for my base which are very readily available. sweep a light, shimmery shaddow over your lids to your brow bone. try stilla's whipped eye shaddows. they are of a kind of mousse consistency and really do seem to stay on forever. taupe and pearl are must-have colours.
now blend in the darker colour, but keep the colour below the crease or youll risk looking like you have two black eyes. now that you have the base and eyeliner on, its time to get the smokey effect. you need a darker shade of eyeshaddow for this. using an eyeshaddow brush, blend in colour starting at your lash line and blending up. make sure to blend colour into the lash line so the eyeliner dissapears. stop the deep colour at the crease. then just double check your work to check that your eyes match and you can even blend the colour with a cotton bud if you want.
almost done. finish with several coats of volumising mascara like dior's show mascara or loreal paris volume shocking mascara.
...one more thing, remember to keep your lips to a nude colour otherwise you may end up looking a bit like a drag queen lol.
PRETTY EYES:
pretty, springtime eyes can be created using some of the new pastel, frosted eyeshaddow colours. try some of the new offbeat colours like pink or yellow. use them to line all the way around your eyes.
again, firstly youll need to prep the lid, this is the key to keeping your eyeshaddow put all day long. this will also stop your shaddow melting into your eyelid crease after a few hours. to do this, start wil an eyeshaddow base/primer. try MAC's prep and prime eye or fresh freshface perfecting eye primer. then the rest is simple, just apply your colour, if you want two seperate colours then remember to blend, blend, blend. finish off with some brown or black mascara and there you have it, another great look.
this look is great for eyes that are close set, use lighter coloured eyeshaddow on the inner portion of the lid towards the nose and darker eyeshaddow on the outer edge of the lid. (reverse technique should be used to apply eyeshaddow for widely spaced eyes).
NEUTRAL COLOURS:
the best make-up colours for brown eyes are actually neutrals. try colours in the brown family like taupes and peaches. l'oreal do some lovely neautral shades. try to somewhat coordinate your look. i dont mean your shaddow should be beige, your blush should be beige, and your lipstick should be beige. i dont mean a monotone colour, just a coordinated one.
apply primer as described previously. apply eyeliner under the eyes (above eyelashes) and a thin line above the eyes close to the eyelashes. grab your eyeshadow brush that is thinnest and dab it in the eyeshadow. raise your eyebrows, find the crease of your upper eyelid (where you might feel the bone for the top of your eye socket), and then take the brush and line it with the eyeshadow. do it as if you're holding a pencil and you're using it to draw on your eyes. do this to make a half circle above your eyes. (don't go too far out to the side of your face when doing this step).
to do the bottom part of the eyeshadow, take out your thin brushed eyeshadow brush again and dab it in your black eyeshadow. (tap it on the rim to get rid of excess eyeshadow that could fall off the brush and leave unattractive black spots of eyeshadow under your eyes or on your cheeks!) with one easy motion, start by putting the brush under your bottom lashes and sweeping it from side to side in a straight motion to create the point under the eye on both sides.
touch up by making sure no excess eyeshadow fell onto unwanted places on your face and adding a little concealer to seal the deal. and you're done!
COORDINATE YOUR COLOURS:
if you are wearing shaddows from the brown family, try a peach blush. if you are wearing a more colourful shaddow like violet or blue, use a berry or rose coloured blush. keep like colours together: muted with muted. bright with bright.
make-up for brown eyes really has no rules. when selecting an eyeliner, you can go with dark browns for a natural look and black for a more intense look. you can frame your eyes with tons of mascara and not end up looking all panda eyed. play it up and emphasize it all you want.
hope this helps

almost done. finish with several coats of volumising mascara like dior's show mascara or loreal paris volume shocking mascara.
...one more thing, remember to keep your lips to a nude colour otherwise you may end up looking a bit like a drag queen lol.

What color eye liner or eyeshadow looks good with blue eyes?
ive got big blue eyes. is black okay, or would brown eyeliner be better? i dont really wear eyeshadow cuz i dont know what color to wear. what would look good? my skin tone is fair-medium and i have light brown hair. What color eye liner or eyeshadow looks good with blue eyes?
i use a very dark brown. Black is sometimes okay, i gues it depends on what look your going for. but i have blue eyes and i just have a bronzey or brown eyeshadow. gold stuff tends to make blue eyes stand out.
i would suggest staying away from too dark colors, if you have really light hair. but yeah, blue eyes don't really need that much dressing up.What color eye liner or eyeshadow looks good with blue eyes?
you can use brown eyeliner (it kind or depends how much your gunna use) but i would prefer black. neutrals work on almost everyone. for eyeshadows id say :blues, pinks, purples, shimmer eyeshadow.
METALICS, look awesome!
like gold and exspecially silver and you can also go for bronze but i think metalic silver looks the best ( i have blue eyes)
hi there,
Black is the best because it will make your eyes stand out, since your not used to eyeshadows etc why dont you try neutral colours like light brown or pearlish colours. If you want your eyes to really stand out deep green colours would look nice and deep purple. But in terms of eyeliner black is the best cause you can wear it day and night
Wow, that's wierd your like my twin...lol except my hair is dirty blonde almost light brown.... Anyways, i wear black eyeliner, and green eyeshadow because it makes my eyes pop. Everyone thinks they look great on me. Light purple eyeshadow is good too, but mainly green.
It depends on what color of blue your eyes are. My eyes are a really light blue, almost grey, and black eyeliner looks too severe on me. I've found that a nice chocolate brown color looks really good and makes my eyes stand out the best.
eyeliner: black,silver,brown,
eyeshadow: white-ish, light light brown, light silver
gold or skintone eyeshadows look best in my opinion but a light pinkish/coral is pretty too
and for eyeliner black makes blue eyes pop the most but for casual brown is good
Hmmmmm.... i would say black eye liner and a shimmery pale green eye shadow to make your blue eyes more noticeable...
Also wearing blue makes your eyes bluer...at least it makes my friends eyes bluer
Typically a deep gold blended with blue or purple looks best.
Also, tryo adding a little white, and keep light on the shadow.
Brown, green, and black eyeliner always look nice with blue eyes.
purples and pinks eyeshadow, with black eyeliner i guess.
but purple and pink eyeshadow for sure.
maybe green!!!
ooo sooo many choices!! blue eyes go with a lot of stuff tho so ure very lucky!!! :)
black eye liner yes but don't over do the look
maybe use white eye shadow in the corner of your eye to bring out the blue
this technique does work
dark brown eyeliner would look good. and a gold shimmery shadow always looks natural but pretty. :)
brown eyeliner for sure!!!
shimmery gold shadow
I have blue eyes and I use black eyeliner.
A light silver or light brown eye shadow will look good.
green or red eye shadow makes blue eyes pop. for eyeliner you should pick black.
that aqua-green color makes blue eyes stand out... or brown. black might be too drastic. :)
green
maybe pink, or gold

What color eye liner would look best with light brown eyes and dark blonde hair, with tan skin?
Normally i use normal black eyeliner, but i've found that it darkens my eyes. I would much rather use a color that will brighten my eye color, and make my eyes pop. Thanks (:What color eye liner would look best with light brown eyes and dark blonde hair, with tan skin?
Probably a like a dark golden brown color :D I think that would work. What color eye liner would look best with light brown eyes and dark blonde hair, with tan skin?
I'd say a gold colour, but if you want to be more casual then a light brown.

Can anyone suggest a new eye liner color for me?
Hi...I have been wearing black eye liner for over 6 years now. I wear eye liner everyday, because without it my eyes look so tired. When I have glasses on, the eye liner looks good, but when I wear my contacts it just looks really thick and makes my eyes look very big. I already have big hazel eyes so I'm wondering what color would work for me. I have brown hair and fair skin. Also, does anyone here wear their eye liner on the -inside- of their lashes? Is that safe to do? Just curious...thanks!Can anyone suggest a new eye liner color for me?
If you have hazel eyes I would go with a dark purple, grape or egg plant color. I have green eyes and all purple shades really make them pop out. Almay has a line that will give you the best color combinations based on your eye color. You should try that. I have never tried eye liner on the inside because I can never get it to stay on, but I have friends who do and it always looks good. Can anyone suggest a new eye liner color for me?
black eyeliner is a good choice for you, becasue the dark color contrasts your eye color. you could try navy blue; one of my friends does and it looks really good.
outside of lashes. you could get infected or at least poke your eye if you wear it inside
navy blue and purple would look really good
This is going to sound weird, but...go out and buy some WHITE eyeliner and line the insides of your lower lids (yes, this is perfectly safe unless you go and poke your eye out). Then put a thin line on the lashline of your upper lid, then dust your eyelids with an opalescence (iridescent, kind of sparkly) of gree. It'll bring out the green hues in your hazel eyes and make you look anything but tired.
try lancome art definer in blueberry thats the best liquid liner in the world , easy to use and it lasts long. the applicator makes it easy fo ryou to make a thick or thin line.
my mom has hazel eyes and she lines them with a pencil....with a soft green and at the ends go's over the green light with brown...and her eyes look amazing sometimes green.
i wear mine on the inside, try a brown color it will have the same effect but it will look different to
Go for brown. It goes with everything. And no, I don't think anyone wears eyeliner inside their lashes.
Sounds like you should try no liner at all for a while. Give the eyes a chance to recover.
I personally like liquid, cause you can put it on as thin or thick as you want. Or you can try using differant eyeshadows, i wear mine on the top lid and nothing on the bottom to kinda give almond shape effect, then I lightly brush some eyeshadow over to blend an give a more natural look. I would say go with a blondish/brown or even gray may look pretty neat for your color eyes. I have dark brown hair, blue/gray eyes and fair skin, I understand your dilema!
Teal, or aqua blue/green. Looks gorgeous on my brown eyes, and I have fair skin and dark brown hair. Or you can try Charcoal.
why not choose a softer colour, like brown. instead of using actual eye liner, you could also apply a shade of eyeshadow along your eye line using a slim brush. it is a bit softer that way also.
or, consider going natural!
Maybe go with a navy blue, or brown eyeliner. Also, i wear eyeliner on the inside of my lashes on the bottom.. it's never caused me any harm.
get different colors match your eyeliner to your clothing i do it all the time and i always get compliments good luckk
Hazel eyes look great in black and pink....to mix it up use a pink eyeshadow and line your top lid with a chunky light green liner and follow it by a thin black liner right next to the lashes. Add mascara and you eyes should pop in the daytime.
not a good idea to put it on the inside of the lashes... it is easy for it to get into your eyes and cause infection, not to mention be incredibly uncomfortable and form goopy clumps in the corners of your eyes!
my question is what kind of eyeliner are you using? pencil, liquid, etc...
my advice is to get a really stiff angle brush and some powder... you still get eyeliner but its not as hard and thick as using the other stuff...
and as far as color goes... a softer black or maybe even a brown might work great!
you can brown or maybe for a big change violet
try a brown or green brown
I use black too and I have green eyes and sometimes it's just too much.
it's safe to do on the inside of your eyes. that makes your eyes look smaller tho.
I LOVE the Almay Intense i-Color products (http://www.almay.com/pg/main/EyesIndex.aspx?catid=32%26amp;catnm=Eyes%26amp;subid=1000%26amp;subnm=SystemIndex). I have hazel eyes that change from brown to green %26amp; most combinations in between. These guys have eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascaras that bring out or play up (depending on your mood) green, hazel, brown, or blue eyecolors. I use the green, hazel, and brown combos daily, depending on what I'm wearing %26amp; what I want to bring out that day. I just found sets of eyeshadow (with 3 shades), eyeliner %26amp; mascara at Target for $10.99. They come all packaged together and the best part is Almay uses gentle %26amp; good quality ingredients, so your eyes won't get irritated... and yes, I do line between my eye %26amp; my eyelashes %26amp; have for years... it's never been a problem for me, just rub lightly, it's sensitive!
They say you should go for an eyeliner color opposite your eye color for the best effect. Yours would probably be that dark eggplant color. I've never tried it myself. I have green eyes and wear a dark gray liner. Somedays it looks better than others!

A creamy, chocolatey brown eyeliner would look tre-amazing and cute on blue eyes !! And black mascara works with any and everything.
I also think that a coppery brown eyeliner would look perfect, especially with some shimmery gold eyeshadow.
Navy blue would be a great choice too. It would really make your eyes pop and looks brilliant with black mascara ( or even blue mascara !! )
Experiment with all kinds of colors though, if you don't like any of those on you then try forrest greens, plums, whatever you like-- because makeup is more of a personal choice, it doesn't matter so much what other people think looks good-- it's what you love !!
Use brown eyeliner and smudge it with a q-tip so it will look more naturual.
Here's a good brand: http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a>
For mascara you can wear black for a night look but a rich brown is much better if you want to look naturual.
Yes, black mascara looks nice, but make sure you brush out your lashes so they don't get cakey.
My fav eyeliner colors are: brown, silver, and white. The brown brings out my blues (hehe...) and the silver and white play them up!
good luckerz my blue-eyed girl!=]
Depends on skin tone.
I'm pale and I use dark brown from Rimmel London but if your skin tone is olive or tan you should use black. I suggest http://www.rimmellondon.com/UK/products/eyes/product.aspx?id=104

you can wear black, but i prefer brown with yours.
brown will make your blue eyes pop out more, and catch attnetion.

What color eye liner should an african american use?
I am not dark brown. Im like a carmel color but a little darker than carmel. What color eye liner should an african american use?
black or dark brown it doesnt matter about skin color. its the color of your hair. What color eye liner should an african american use?
Any dark color would look good on you - if you want a more natural look, then try a medium-toned brown, like a dark hazel--ish color
But if you want your eyes to be VERY dramatic, then try white, pink or something like that; be very careful about what color you use if you're going to use a lighter color - try it on first, ask someone, and if they (and you) think it's trashy, then don't wear it
But my friend wears white eyeliner sometimes, and she looks REALLY good in it
i think u could use natural dark colour as u r a bit dark.if u use bright colour u will look like a clown.try it out.gud luck.but u can always visit any make up counter coz the worker there can give u make up tips for FREE.they r pro.
a gold or a pretty blue
I think a good rule of thumb is that (for the most part) eyeliner/shadow looks trashy if it's lighter than your skintone, so you could probably look good in any chocolate, black/dark blue whatever that you want or think would compliment your style. good luck ^_^
Stick with the traditional black. This will never look dull on you and can be line to look natural or dramatic.
For something different try a dark purple and dark blue to draw a thin line on the top lid.

What is the best eye-shadow and eye liner color for light brown eyes?
I have light brown, sort of goldish color eyes, and I want them to stand out more and look lighter and brighter. Is there a good color for eye shadow and eye liner that I should use? I don't use black, because it makes my eyes look smaller. I tend to like purple eye shadow too. Any suggestions? What is the best eye-shadow and eye liner color for light brown eyes?
Purples, greens, and blues are the best colors for brown eyes, but anyone can really wear any color as long as its in the right shade. Go to sephora or a makeup counter..(MAC is my fav) and have a makeup artist help you. I am a makeup artist with brown-gold eyes and wear greys, blues, oranges, greens etc...any color works, but application is key! Let them help you pick out colors and have them suggest the best type of brushes for the look you want. They will be more than happy to write it down for you if you cant buy it right then. You can also find a less expensive version of makeup brushes at target. good luck:)What is the best eye-shadow and eye liner color for light brown eyes?
stay away from brown liner, especially when it matches your eyes cuz then it looks freaky. use a black liner on the top and bottom lids. black mascara, and gold eyeshadow! good luck!
Mascara - use brown
Eyeshadow %26amp; Eyeliner - Use purple or lavender, it makes your eyes pop.
I have light brown/ambery eyes and I use like a dark forest green and it makes them stand out and look amazing.
as for mascara/eyeliner ... a brown is good.
I like Almay because they have an eyeshadow kit designed for brown, green and blue eyes. The kit for brown eyes has purple, brown, and a light gold color. They all make your eyes look awesome! For brown eyes, you definitely need any kind of purple or pink as a base and if you want, you can apply a darker eyeshadow above your eyelid on the crease. Very, very nice effect! Also, green REALLY helps brown eyes stand out. If you want to have a more cooled down effect, I would recommend getting a kit of shades that comes with a goldish tan color, brown and dark brown. Wet N' Wild has a kit with just those colors. I use the brown on my eyelid, the dark brown on my eyelid crease and the goldish tan as a shadow below my eyebrow. Very sexy, evening type of look.
Like I mentioned before, Almay has good eyeshadow, but I LOVE Mary Kay eyeshadows! They last a long time and the colors are beautiful!
As for eyeliner, N.Y.C. is my new favorite! It costs about a dollar at any drugstore and is amazing.
Also, don't forget mascara! Maybelline Waterproof mascara never fails.
Good luck!

Dark Brown (good if you want to bring out the golden undertones in them)
Tan
Dark Purple
Orangey-Bronze
Black
Deep Green
Silver
Note that u can always use eyeshadow as eyeliner. :)What eye liner color wuld match my eye color?
ive been told to use purple eyeshadow ( deep shade of purple ) with black eyeliner if you want them to be more green :) personally i think black goes with anything :) lol
try like a plum or a coffee eyeliner :)
because u have a hazely green type of eye colour i'd probley go for a coffee brown or a deep purple on the inner of ur eyes would look really good
Try a small thin line of light purple right in the middle of the lower lid. Then apply dark brown eyeliner from when the purple ends until the outer corner of your eye. A little black mascara and it will look great! If this doesn't make sense....then...don't worry-lol- you'll figure it out

Eye liner tips?
has anyone got any tips on how to make eyes look darker and/or bigger?Eye liner tips?
put alot of eyeliner and mascaraEye liner tips?
in addition to the tips given by the others, use a quality white eye liner pencil on the inside of your lower eye lid. it makes the eyes look considerably bigger. use a curling mascara. i use lashlift by maxfactor.
A liquid liner is better for definition. When you apply it, make the line thicker on the outside of your eye. It'll open your eyes. If you extend the line just a little past the outside corner and then line only the outter half of the bottom of your eye, they'll look bigger. Be patient though, it takes a lot of mistakes to get it right.
Only line the top of your eyelid.
When you do the bottom, it makes your eyes look smaller. Curl your lashes before applying a good lengthening mascara, and if you use shadow, put a little dot of a shimmery neutral in the center of your lid right above your liner and blend (use the colour you use on your brow bone).
Try lining the eyes witha liquid liner. Start in the inner corner of the eyes making a thin line. When you start to reach the outter corner make the line thicker and extend it a little bit. Line only the top with the black liner and the bottom use mascara or try a light grey on the bottom.
Curl your lashes alot and add mascara. Use a white eyeliner in the inside part of your bottom lashes then add the black underneath it. To make it look bigger use the smokey eye look. heres a link that is helpful.

Eye liner tips?
Eyeliner should be applied close to the base of the eyelashes. Products vary from cake to liquid liner to pencil. Practice makes perfect in achieving a fine line.
Pencil liners can be used above top lashes and under lower lashes. Liquid liners should only be used on the top lid.
A liquid eyeliner that you use with a fine brush will stay on the best. If you don麓t feel adept at this, pencils work well also. Pencils can be smudged for a subtle look. Always hold your head back, look down into the mirror, and apply your eyeliner. This will keep your eyelid skin tight and you can make a smooth line.
Don麓t apply eyeliner in a thick line. It looks harsh and makes the eye appear heavy and tired. Get out of the 60麓s and instead use a fine line. If you have trouble, use a brush to blend and smooth it out.
To enhance deep-set eyes line both the upper and lower lids, then choose light eye shadows such as pale pink, peach or beige.
Here's how to minimize the chances of makeup irritating your eyes when you're wearing your lenses. Apply your make-up after inserting your lenses. You must use waterproof eye make-up and it must be hypo-allergenic. Do not apply eyeliner to the inner edge of the lid or above the lash line on the lower lid.Eye liner tips?

I have small eyes and cant wear liner on bottom, but i love crazy colors of liner and shadow on top. any tips?
my eyes r medium brown and im looking 4 some crazy colors that will jus make my eyes amazingly different and look bigger. help please!I have small eyes and cant wear liner on bottom, but i love crazy colors of liner and shadow on top. any tips?
best bet to add color to the bottom of your eye is by using colored mascara or a thin eyeliner brush using sheer or shimmery loose powder eyeshadows they always come in cool colors and brighten up your eyes no mater the color of your eyes and you can also apply a little to the inside corners of your eyes it gives your eyes a more dramatic effectI have small eyes and cant wear liner on bottom, but i love crazy colors of liner and shadow on top. any tips?
you should use colored eye liners along the edge of your lower eyelashes. Try this...use any two colors, example: blue and purple, out line the inner corner of your eyes with purple to half way across eye then use a blue color to outline the rest, from the center to the outer edge of the eye. This creates a cool shading effect. You can use the same technique on the upper lids.
i wear the craziest colors ever .
ive even gone rainbow ,
but to make your eyes look bigger use
a light color like white or a pale yellow and put
it on the corner of your eye (the corner close to your nose)
for some reason light colors in that spot open your eyes up.
if ur eyes are small i would suggest that u wear it on the outside of ur eye so it could look bigger...if u wear it inside they would look smaller than what they are...=D

my eyes droop downward at the crease and they are light brown...I have really squinty eyes... EYESHADOW / LINER TIPS???
Use a light shimmery color just underneath the brow bone and in the inner corners of your eyes. This will catch the light and really open your eyes up. Sweep the eyelid with a neutral color. Look online to find good colors to compliment brown eyes (I have blue, so I can't help you there) and apply in and just above the crease from the middle to outer corner of your eyelid. Blend. Stay away from too much eyeliner...just a little bit to help make your lashes look longer when you apply mascara.I have really squinty eyes... EYESHADOW / LINER TIPS???

The most sleek looking eyeliner on the top eyelid is liquid but practice a great deal before hand as it's not easy to apply the first time!
But how I used to start off was applying just a very thin layer starting from half way of the eyelid and working in little drags, moving the brush a bit, taking it off, carrying it on again. Whe you first start out you don't want to apply it as one long streak, do it carefully and minimal. You could always do small flicks at the end aswell just where the eyelid ends and where your eyelashes are on the outer corner.
But the tip for liquid eyeliner is to practice!!blue hair

I've seen a girl wear a smoky eye burgundy look, it looked pretty good too.
Light green or brown would probably look really pretty on you with your hair color.
Give it a try!

it also depends what color eyes you have. but since you have red hair green eye shadows and dark green jade or teal eyeliner would probably look really pretty.
hope i helped ;)
A few years ago I changed my hair colour from blonde to red. I wondered to the cosmetics counter at my local major shopping centre and asked for some tips for make-up that will suit my new hair colour. They said steer away from black and stick with deep earthy tones such as bronze. As for your lips, try rusty deep reds.
it depends on ur eye color. Green/blue darker tones like brown, charcole, purple. For brown eyes lighter colors like pink, blue, or gray.
Ok. Blue/Turquoise eye or pink shadow wud look good wit ur hair color. But dont put too much. Eyeliner: black
a thick black line over your eyes nothing else
and or bright red lipstick!!
I think u should do a brown eye liner (that's what my friend who's a redhead wheres and it looks REALLY good!) But honestly idk know what type of eye shadow!Maybe a shimmery white or something! Just experiment are at home and try different ones out!
brown eyeliner and purple eyeshadow :) OR HOT PINK! :)

Maybelline makes an eye shadow quad that has browns and an olive color in it. It's call 'Enchanted Forest.' I think olives look good on red heads.

Eye liner tips?
I have green eyes. They are usually more gold though, and I have blonde hair. They blend together, and my eyes don't POP. for some reason, i can never get my eye liner to look right. It looks really good when I apply it to the top, but not the bottom. I always look tired when I apply it to the bottom. Do you have any tips on how to apply eye liner to lower lids? thank you!Eye liner tips?
As a makeup artist I only like appying eyeliner at the top. But it depends on how you like it. But with liquid I only apply at the top, if its pencil I will apply at the top and bottom, when I apply it at the bottom i start in the middle to the corner. Use waterproof, and brushes. So here are some tips to follow.
Shape and define your eyes with eyeliner after you've applied eye shadow and before applying mascara. Whether you choose a soft line or a dramatic stroke, eyeliner draws attention.
Tips:
Choose an eyeliner appropriate for your eye color. Brown, navy and charcoal accent light eyes well, while brown and plum shades flatter brown eyes. Make sure your liner complements the color of your shadow.
Consider the type of look you're after. Pencil eyeliner gives your eyes soft definition, while liquid versions offer precision and drama. You can also moisten dark eye shadow and apply it with a small, flat brush.
Prepare a cake liner or a dark eye shadow by applying a small amount of water to your brush. Or, if you're using a pencil eyeliner, ensure that you've sharpened the pencil adequately.
Move the wet brush gently through your cake liner or dark shadow. Hold the brush or pencil as you would hold a pen.
Tilt your head back slightly and bring your eyes to a half-open state. This creates a good angle for application, while allowing you to see what you're doing.
Draw a line across the upper lid just above the lashes, from the inside corner to the outside corner of the eye. If you're using liquid liner, allow it to dry before opening your eyes all the way, or the color may transfer into the crease of your eye.
If you used a brush or a pencil, soften the look by gently smudging the line with your brush, a cotton swab or your finger.
To make your eyes POP:
Hazel shades enhance your eye color鈥攑inks and blacks make it pop for a stunning, intensified hazel!
Toffee shades enhance your eye color鈥?Blush and blacks make it pop for your boldest hazel yet!
Bring out your green eyes with a soft pencil liner and lengthening mascara.
plums make it pop for a beautiful, intensified green!
Jade shades enhance your eye color鈥攙iolets make it pop for your boldest green yet
Hope that helps.Eye liner tips?

put eyeliner directly on the water line, the line that ur eyelashes connect to, it will go on smoothly and look fantastic!
work your way in.
I have green eyes, too and I make them pop by dying my medium brown hair dark dark brown (almost black.) Another way to make green eyes really pop is to use an eyeliner brush and line your eyes in a smoky purple, black, dark brown or gray eyeshadow. I would recommend lining your eyes with eyeshadow if you're having trouble with eyeliner.
Only apply a thin line of eyeliner along the bottom lid. Only line along the lower lashline from your outer eyes to your mid bottom, so it looks more natural. Lightly smudge the liner so it blends with your lashes. Also if you have specks of gold in your eyes try getting a shimmery gold eyeshadow to line underneath your lower lashline. It will surely make your eyes look really pretty and it will bring out the gold in your eyes. Also you might like shadow liner which comes in various colors and includes a pointed brush to apply it. It looks really natural compared to harsh lines some eyeliners leave.

Toffee shades enhance your eye color鈥?Blush and blacks make it pop for your boldest hazel yet!
Bring out your green eyes with a soft pencil liner and lengthening mascara.
plums make it pop for a beautiful, intensified green!

I have really squinty eyes... EYESHADOW / LINER TIPS???
my eyes droop downward at the crease and they are light brown...I have really squinty eyes...
White eye liner, it makes your eyes look bigger

Light green or brown would probably look really pretty on you with your hair color.
Give it a try!

it also depends what color eyes you have. but since you have red hair green eye shadows and dark green jade or teal eyeliner would probably look really pretty.

It's call 'Enchanted Forest.' I think olives look good on red heads.blue hair
