Eye Liner Tips?

I never really wore eye liner and I would like to start so does anybody have any tips?? Like what brand to buy, or best way to apply? And another thing should I apply only to top or top and bottom??

I love liquid liner, but it takes a bit of practice to apply. Also if you want your eyes to look bigger put it along the top lash only, not all the way around.Eye Liner Tips?
i say on the botttom is the best bet... then you put the eyeliner (if its a pensil) all over ur eyelid then take a q-tipp and smudge/rub in the eyeliner and it gets that smoky effect.. either that or just the bottom
as far as the brand...you wanna buy something thats not cheap..its well worth it to spend a little more, because it wil stay on and look fab!


and as far as application...it depends on you eye shape..


if you have normal-large eyes you can get away wth top and bottom..but if your eyes are small stick with just the top..OR aply it to the outside corners..like on your top and bottom go to the half way point and do it from there..this will help to not close your eye in soo much...


And if your feeling frisky you can try different colors..dark plums or browns can look nice for an evening look.
If you have small eyes, I wouldn't recommend using black eyeliner. It makes your eyes look smaller! Go with deep browns instead.





If you want to open up your eyes, I would suggest putting the eyeliner on fully on top, but on the bottom start somewhere mideye toward the end. It really makes them appear larger. :]
good, cheap eyeliner that you can get at a drugstore is Prestige. it goes on smoothly, and it comes in many colors. whether you apply it to just the top or bottom as well, that's up to you. if you want a kinda of subtle look, just do the top.

buy an eyeliner brush and a dark color you would want to wear as a liner. it doesnt look as harsh as normal liners and it doesnt look as trashy
OK, I don't know how old you are, but in middle school, people put on way too much eye liner, and it makes them look trashy!!!! Put it on as thin as you can. Put it on the top, and a little on the bottom, but not much at all. :o)
