For powders-- you can try the Maybelline mineral powder line. They're really light and won't clog pores or anything.
For eyes:
Natural Look: Considering you have fair hair, go with a brown eyeliner and mascara. Mascara, I think, is a must! Since you have fair eyelashes, it's SO important that when you're applying mascara that you start from the root of your lashes so they're completely covered! You don't want them to be have dark-half light. For a natural look, buy an eye shadow quad in shades of light brown. Use the darkest color to line your eyes. The next darkest color in your creases. sweep the next color over your lids. and use the lightest color to highlight your browbone. Blend!
For Brown eyes: Take a closer look at your brown eyes. Do they have red or gold undertones? If red, try eyeshadows or eyeliners in green tones.(use a pale green that suits your skin). If you have gold tones, use shades of purple.
For Green eyes: Lavender is veryy pretty on green eyes. Silver, green, and blue are also great.
Blue eyes: Of course, shades of blue are great. Silver or gray is pretty.
Hazel/ Gray Eyes: Pale pinks and lavenders are amazing. For Hazel, if you want to bring out a certain tone in your eyes like green maybe, try green eyeliner or eyeshadow.
Tips:
-Definitely start out with pencil liner. Liquid takes a lot of practice and a steady hand.
-Don't mix colored eyeliner and mascara. Black/Brown mascara with purple or green eyeliner is fine. But don't try blue eyeliner with purple eyeliner. It will make your eyelashes really stubby.
-For a natural look, take a stubby brown-black eyeliner, line your eyes, and smudge. Top it off with a bit of mascara.
-Add a touch of extra mascara to the outer corners of your eyes.
-Since you're a beginner, start with cheaper brands to experiment. Once you find a look you like, then you can splurge on the good stuff.
Some drugstore brands to try: Wet n' Wild(for eyes) N.Y.C. (for eyes)
Covergirl and Maybelline (for pretty much everything)
Ok. . .
1. I don't use powder so I'm sorry I can't help you there
2. Neutral colors are best (in other words browns)
3.Eyeliner, you could use the Covergirl Perfect Point Plus. It comes in
brown or black.
I suggest pencil at first then you can later move on to liquid but the
tip should be a felt tip.
4.Mascara is good. You could use a Brown-black color. I like Covergirl
Lash Exact because it doesn't clump. No, the mascara does not
need to match the eyeliner.
Since you have blonde hair, do NOT put on a lot of black eyeliner and mascara. You can put a little bit of black mascara, just make sure it isn't that volumizing, Dark brown eyeliner is good to use too, and it looks almost like black. I would recommend using Mac eyeliner, but you can always use a good one from a drugstore or something. (: Since your a beginner I would definitely make sure to start out with no liquid. Some good eyeshadows would be purples, greens, golds, and light light pinks. (:
I suggest just going for no foundation, concealer or powder, you don't need it!
So for your make-up:
Eyes: Use black/brown eyeliner for everyday use and colours for other times. You can try many different brands but I find that Remington/Maybelliene are really good! For liquid eyeliner, the same kinds of brands. You really just have to try them out on your own skin. You should try black/gold or silver glitter (this is a definite line, its just like speckles of glitter, not very casual though)/green/blue etc. For eyeshadow, you use brown or skin tone colours for a casual look, and use fine amounts of colour for a more dressy look. I suggest you buy a Maybelliene skin tone eyeshadow (I know I mention them a lot but they are amazing, especially this one!) and for others you can get pallettes of colour, which are really good. Mascara can be any colour, but black is so much easier! The best brand for mascara is Remington Sexy Curves - it's amazing! When you use your liquid eyeliner, use it on your lid only, and your pencil underneathy your eye. Then when you get more confident, try pencil on top, but don't use liquid underneath, it's nasty!
Cheeks: Pinch your cheeks and find a blusher that matches that colour. I really like a blusher called Bojouris Paris - it's really good. It's a powder, which I suggest but Dream Mousse by maybelliene is also really good, though it's a cream blusher. When applying cream blusher go by the rules of LESS IS MORE. I don't think you should use bronzer - it can be addictive! If you want to look a bit browner, try using different shades of blush/eye makeup, it can help.
Lips: You can use lipliner if you can be bothered! I suggest to buy 3 things for your lips: Pinky Gloss, 1 Good Shade Of Lipstick %26amp; A Lip Stain (something that stays on a little longer)
Hope this helps, good luck!
Here's a good routine for you:
1) Wash/moisturize face
2) Apply pressed powder all over the face (more on areas with oil)
I like all the Cover Girl's powders.
3) Put just a tad of coral or light light pink blush on the apples of your cheeks.
4) You don't have to wear eyeshadow, but if you want to I'd wear light shimmery pinks.
5) If you want eyeliner wear a dark brown, but not too much. Just a thin line on the top and bottom. (pencil)
6) Wear either clear or brown mascara. (I like Maybelline and Victoria's Secret)
7) Finish the look with a sheer pink gloss.
