in addition to the tips given by the others, use a quality white eye liner pencil on the inside of your lower eye lid. it makes the eyes look considerably bigger. use a curling mascara. i use lashlift by maxfactor.
A liquid liner is better for definition. When you apply it, make the line thicker on the outside of your eye. It'll open your eyes. If you extend the line just a little past the outside corner and then line only the outter half of the bottom of your eye, they'll look bigger. Be patient though, it takes a lot of mistakes to get it right.
Only line the top of your eyelid.
When you do the bottom, it makes your eyes look smaller. Curl your lashes before applying a good lengthening mascara, and if you use shadow, put a little dot of a shimmery neutral in the center of your lid right above your liner and blend (use the colour you use on your brow bone).
Try lining the eyes witha liquid liner. Start in the inner corner of the eyes making a thin line. When you start to reach the outter corner make the line thicker and extend it a little bit. Line only the top with the black liner and the bottom use mascara or try a light grey on the bottom.
Curl your lashes alot and add mascara. Use a white eyeliner in the inside part of your bottom lashes then add the black underneath it. To make it look bigger use the smokey eye look. heres a link that is helpful.
