I have greenish-brownish eyes, and I use two different shades of purple eyeshadow, (the darker one on my eyelid, closer to my lashes, and then the lighter one around it), with a bit of white eyeshadow in the corners. And then I use a bright purple eyeliner on the top, and a little bit on the bottom. Curl my lashes, and apply brown mascara. It looks pretty good! I think you should try it!

light colored eyes look best with dark colored eye shadow.
use green on your lids and brown on your crease and blend them together.
for eyeliner i'd go with black, and lots of mascara.
purple makes brown eyes stand out amazingly :)
Purple would be a great option. Any shade would look nice, especially lavender.
